New Delhi (Agency): Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Thursday, asserted that opposition parties are becoming frustrated as they witness the dreams of the nation’s ordinary citizens coming true.
Addressing the public after inaugurating the Rajkot international airport and other development initiatives, Modi also mentioned that his administration has put in extensive efforts to keep inflation in check.
“The people who used to keep the nation thirsty for progress, those who didn’t care about the aspirations and hopes of the people, are now upset as they see the dreams of our citizens being realized,” Modi declared.
Today, those who were associated with corruption and nepotism have merely changed the name of their “jamaat” (community), he added. Despite the old faces, their manners remain the same and so do their objectives. This seemed to be a veiled reference to opposition parties forming the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA).
“We came to power with a promise of good governance, and we have delivered on that promise over the past nine years,” Modi proudly stated.
