Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the state is playing a key role in India’s journey towards becoming a developed nation.
In a post on X, the Chief Minister said that development and public welfare schemes implemented in Uttar Pradesh have led to a notable improvement in people’s living standards. He added that the benefits of government initiatives are reaching all sections of society—including the poor, farmers, youth and women—in a transparent, timely and effective manner.
“Under the able guidance of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, ‘New Uttar Pradesh’ is playing a crucial role in the development journey of ‘Viksit Bharat’. The development and public welfare schemes being implemented in the state have significantly improved the living standards of the people,” Yogi Adityanath said.
Expressing confidence in the state’s growth path, the Chief Minister said that by 2026, Uttar Pradesh will set new benchmarks in prosperity, good governance and all-round progress, driven by the development-oriented policies of the double-engine government.
“We are fully confident that by 2026, these policies will enable Uttar Pradesh to achieve new milestones in prosperity, good governance and comprehensive development,” he added.
Earlier this week, CM Yogi highlighted the importance of investment and artificial intelligence, saying that 2025 would be remembered as a year of innovation in technology, AI and data. In an open letter addressed to the people of Uttar Pradesh, he said preparations are underway to establish ‘AI City’ in Lucknow and Noida, while around 10 lakh citizens are being trained under the ‘AI Pragya’ initiative.
Sharing the letter on X, Yogi Adityanath said Uttar Pradesh is setting new standards of forward-looking development, adding that good governance has strengthened “Brand UP” and enhanced investor confidence in the state.
He further said that a semiconductor unit worth Rs 3,700 crore is being set up in Jewar, while the state’s data centre policy is beginning to yield results. Commercial operations have started at five hyperscale data centre parks, with a target of attracting Rs 30,000 crore in investments in the data centre sector.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also extended New Year greetings to the nation, wishing people good health, prosperity and success in their endeavours. In a message on X, the Prime Minister expressed hope for peace, harmony and happiness as the country steps into 2026.
