He reminded everyone of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s appeal during the inauguration of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsava last year. The event marks the start of the “Amrit Kaal of independence,” an exciting period where India imagines its future. A significant highlight was the cultural program titled Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat. Through this, artists from across Uttar Pradesh and India showcased the unity and resolve of PM Modi’s vision. Adityanath emphasized the importance of unity, saying, “Despite being different in appearance, dress, food, our feelings are the same. Every Indian, irrespective of their background, considers Mother India as the highest priority.”
Reiterating the essence of unity, he brought up Adi Shankar, a monk from Kerala, who established four Peethas in India, signifying the country’s cultural unity. Adityanath said, “It is the responsibility of every Indian to protect the heritage. Every Indian will feel proud of it and will join with five vows.”
Discussing India’s recent achievements, Adityanath was enthusiastic about the country’s economic growth, noting India’s status as the fifth-largest economy and its role in the G-20 under PM Modi’s leadership. He also mentioned the upcoming G-20 summits in UP cities like Lucknow and Varanasi, which further position the state as an essential player in India’s progress.
Highlighting the remarkable progress of UP in recent years, the CM stated, “We should feel proud that we all are residents of UP and we are also able to make efforts to establish India as a superpower.” This sentiment was supported by his claim that better law and order have reshaped UP’s image, resulting in investment proposals worth Rs 36 lakh crore from the Global Investors Summit. Such investments ensure job opportunities for UP’s youth.
In line with the development, Adityanath announced ongoing efforts to distribute tablets and smartphones to young citizens, emphasizing the importance of skill development and transparency in recruitment processes.
Further enhancing UP’s image on the global stage, he highlighted the surge in tourism, particularly in religious sites. Places like Kashi and Braj region have seen record numbers of visitors. “The journey which started from 2019 Prayagraj Kumbh is increasing many possibilities of employment in the field of eco-tourism,” the CM added.
