New Delhi (Agency): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given hope to the people of Bundelkhand, a region in the state. On Tuesday, he said that Bundelkhand will soon become a major place for jobs. The reason? The new defence corridor and industrial area being built around the Bundelkhand expressway.
For many years, young people from Bundelkhand have left their homes to look for jobs in other places. But Adityanath believes this will change. “People from around the world will come to work in Jhansi and Bundelkhand,” he said. “The region will soon be established as a new hub of jobs and employment.”
The Chief Minister made these comments during an event where he also started 100 new development projects. These projects are worth Rs 2,009 crore and were launched on National Sports Day. He explained that Bundelkhand has two big roads that will help it grow. One is the Bundelkhand expressway, and the other is the Kanpur-Jhansi National Highway. Also, a new airport will be built in Jhansi.
“Bundelkhand will be the first region to have two airports, one in Jhansi and another in Chitrakoot,” Adityanath added. He also mentioned that the pharma park in Lalitpur is getting stronger and will bring more jobs.
