New Delhi (Agency): Uttar Pradesh’s Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated on Monday that the government is prepared to respond to any question raised in the House, highlighting the crucial role of the Assembly in voicing public concerns.
Before attending the Monsoon session of the Assembly, the Chief Minister spoke to reporters, noting that this session provides a vital opportunity for all members to present the challenges faced by their constituencies. His government, Adityanath added, is geared up to respond to all inquiries in the House.
He stated, “I am confident that all members will make the House the centre of a healthy discussion, keeping in mind the sentiments of the general public. The members will effectively present their points in the House, and the government is ready to answer every question.”
The Monsoon session of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly commenced on Monday. The Chief Minister recognized the challenges faced by the state, including floods affecting western Uttar Pradesh and drought posing problems in over 40 districts.
“We have suggested that if the Speaker permits and the opposition legislators agree, we are prepared to discuss the important issues of flood and drought in the House and propose solutions,” the Chief Minister remarked.
Adityanath reiterated his call to use the Assembly as a platform for meaningful discussion. He stated, “During the past six years, under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a new height of development has been reached. We have successfully positioned Uttar Pradesh as a leading state in the country, liberating it from the identity crisis faced by the youth and citizens due to ‘ugly politics’.”
