Agency(Uttar Pradesh): In a fervent speech in Hapur, Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath emphasized the transformation in the state’s law and order situation, asserting that the security landscape has drastically improved under his administration. The address comes as part of his campaign efforts supporting BJP Lok Sabha candidate, Chaudhary Kanwar Singh Tanwar, from Amroha.
Chief Minister Yogi pointed out that, unlike during previous governments, activities like cattle theft have seen a significant decline, with law enforcement now actively intervening— a stark contrast to earlier times when, he claimed, such crimes occurred with little to no police action. He attributed this change to the effective governance of the BJP, which has restored a sense of security among various community groups including farmers, traders, and women.
Highlighting further advancements, Yogi Adityanath remarked on the peaceful conduct of events such as the Kanwar Yatra, which previously faced disruptions. He contrasted the current stable environment with the past when riots and curfews were more common, crediting his government’s policies for these positive changes.
In his critique of previous SP and BSP administrations, Adityanath accused them of neglecting basic services such as electricity, which he said is now being provided fairly to all citizens, enhancing both security and agricultural productivity. This improvement, he noted, supports the broader achievements of the so-called Double-Engine government— a term used to describe the synergy between state and central BJP governments.
The Chief Minister also lauded infrastructural developments, specifically mentioning the Ganga Expressway, which has significantly reduced travel times within the state and exemplifies the developmental strides being made under BJP governance.
As the Lok Sabha elections approach, Yogi Adityanath’s narrative focuses on the continuity of strong leadership under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, aiming to secure a third term for the BJP government at the center. His speech was not only a showcase of his government’s achievements but also a call to voters in Uttar Pradesh to continue supporting the BJP’s vision of governance, emphasizing national security and economic development as key priorities.
