New Delhi (Aryavarth): Union Minister Amit Shah chaired a high-level meeting at the Ministry of Home Affairs on Monday to review the security situation in Manipur.
Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla, Intelligence Bureau Chief Tapan Deka, Army Chief General Manoj Pandey, Lieutenant General Upendra Dwivedi, GOC Three Corps HS Sahi, Manipur Security Advisor Kuldeep Singh, Manipur Chief Secretary Vineet Joshi, Manipur DGP Rajiv Singh and Assam Rifles DG Pradeep Chandran Nair attended the meeting.
It is noteworthy that a day before this, Home Minister Amit Shah held a security review meeting with the heads of all agencies and Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Jammu and Kashmir. He had an in-depth discussion with the agencies about the security of pilgrims in the security review meeting on the Amarnath Yatra.
