Agency (New Delhi): Sunita Kejriwal, wife of jailed Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, has taken a prominent role in the Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) ongoing election campaign. From roadshows to rallies, she is actively campaigning across several states, advocating for democracy and rallying against what she describes as “dictatorship.”
Speaking in West Delhi, where she supported AAP candidate Mahabal Mishra, Sunita Kejriwal passionately portrayed her husband as a resilient and unyielding figure, akin to a “lion” of Mother India. “Your chief minister has faced imprisonment for his endeavors in improving education, healthcare, and for providing free electricity. He remains unshaken,” she declared to a crowd of supporters.
As she continued her address, Sunita emphasized the critical nature of the upcoming elections. “As a daughter of Mother India, I implore you to appreciate the power of your vote and use it to safeguard our democracy,” she stated, amid cheers from the gathered crowd.
