Agency (New Delhi): Congress leader Rahul Gandhi asserted on Thursday that the ongoing Lok Sabha elections are slipping out of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s control. In a video message, Gandhi urged the youth to ignore Modi’s propaganda and focus on employment issues, assuring them that the INDIA opposition bloc will create 30 lakh jobs by August 15 if it forms the government on June 4.
In his message, the former Congress chief emphasized that Modi is likely to resort to distractions and dramatic tactics as he realizes the election is slipping from his grasp. Gandhi urged the country’s youth to stay focused and not be misled by Modi’s strategies.
“The polls are going out of his hands. He is slipping and he will not be India’s prime minister. He has decided to divert your attention in the next four to five days and do some kind of drama. But your attention should not be diverted,” Gandhi said.
Gandhi described unemployment as the biggest issue facing the nation and criticized Modi for failing to deliver on his promise of providing employment to two crore young people. He blamed Modi for policies like demonetization and the faulty implementation of the Goods and Services Tax (GST), which he claimed were detrimental to the economy and beneficial only to industrialists like Gautam Adani.
Gandhi promised that the INDIA government, if elected, will commence the recruitment process for 30 lakh vacant government posts by August 15. He emphasized the need for jobs over divisive rhetoric, urging the youth to support the INDIA bloc’s Bharti Bharosa scheme aimed at creating employment opportunities.
“The youngsters of the country, the INDIA government is going to be formed on June 4 and we guarantee that by August 15, we will start the recruitment process for 30 lakh vacant government posts. Do not get misled by Narendra Modi’s false propaganda, stick to your issues. Listen to INDIA, choose jobs, not hate,” Gandhi said in a post in Hindi on X.
This message comes as part of Gandhi’s broader campaign strategy to highlight unemployment and criticize the Modi government’s economic policies, positioning the INDIA bloc as a viable alternative focused on job creation and economic stability.
