Agency(Bihar): During his campaign for the Lok Sabha elections in Bihar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi labeled the opposition’s INDIA bloc as the ‘Ghamandia gathbandhan’ and accused the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) of being synonymous with ‘jungle raj’ and corruption in the state. He criticized the RJD for their lengthy governance in Bihar, stating that they lacked the courage to highlight their governmental achievements. “RJD is the biggest face of ‘jungle raj’ in Bihar,” Modi declared, adding that the party has contributed nothing but lawlessness and corruption to the state.
Prime Minister Modi further disparaged the opposition coalition, describing them as visionless and untrustworthy. He pointed out that their electoral campaigns were misleadingly appropriating the achievements of Bihar’s Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and the central government. Modi emphasized that the entire state was aware of the opposition’s tactics to claim undue credit for these accomplishments.
In his speech, Modi also outlined the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) commitments to the electorate, promising to construct three crore houses for the impoverished, extend free rations for the next five years, offer free medical treatment up to Rs 5 lakhs for seniors over seventy, and continue the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi. He confidently presented these pledges as “Modi’s guarantees” to the people of Bihar.
