Agency(Madhya Pradesh): In a shocking incident from Indore, Madhya Pradesh, a leader from the Congress party is currently facing legal action after allegedly invading a local resident’s home and assaulting him. This episode, which occurred within the jurisdiction of the Sadar Bazar police station on a Wednesday evening, has been captured on a surveillance camera installed at the scene, according to law enforcement officials.
The aggressor was identified by police as Anwar Qadri, and the victim was named as Javed. An additional deputy commissioner of police, Rajesh Dandotiya, shared with ANI that Javed reported the incident on Thursday. He claimed that Qadri forcefully entered his dwelling, armed with a rifle, and attacked him along with his family members. Javed also stated that Qadri threatened them with grave consequences, providing a CCTV clip as evidence of the assault.
Based on Javed’s complaint, the police initiated a case against Qadri under several sections of the IPC, including 452, 323, 506, 294, and 34. It was noted that Qadri had a licensed rifle, which was seized by the authorities.
In a twist, Qadri also approached the police, presenting a call recording that purportedly features Javed hurling abuses at him multiple times. Consequently, a case was lodged against Javed based on Qadri’s allegations under IPC Section 507.
The police department is conducting a thorough investigation to unravel the full extent of the incident.
