Agency(Karnataka): Dinesh Gundu Rao, the District-in-Charge Minister, proclaimed at a district Congress consultative meeting that a significant political shift is expected to begin in Coastal Karnataka. This meeting, which took place in Mangaluru, saw the participation of representatives from various communities including Gatti, Kulal, Vishwakarma, and others, highlighting the diverse social fabric of the region.
“The government will work towards the welfare of all communities. There is a noticeable wave of change along the coast, boosting our confidence,” Rao stated. He committed to taking steps to ensure justice for all communities, reflecting the party’s focus on comprehensive welfare and inclusivity.
In addition to Rao’s remarks, Congress candidate Padmaraj R, who has been selected to represent a backward class in the upcoming Lok Sabha election, expressed his gratitude towards the party. He pledged to faithfully represent the aspirations of his constituents and advocate for the interests of the backward classes, aligning with the Congress’s long-standing principle of social justice.
Rao also emphasized the importance of voter participation and the need for ongoing civic awareness. He announced that the Congress plans to continue these community engagements quarterly, in conjunction with local officials, to strengthen the socio-political framework of Mangaluru.
