Bangalore: The Vijai Sambhav Foundation (VSF) recently completed a series of impactful healthcare initiatives aimed at improving community health services in Bangalore and surrounding areas. These efforts included enhancing a dialysis centre’s capabilities and organising a comprehensive health camp.
VSF successfully coordinated the enhancement of the operational capabilities at the Dialysis Centre of Ayurveda Medical College. Originally established with Rotary’s support and managed by skilled technicians, the centre now benefits from the expertise of Dr. Rammohan Bhat, a renowned nephrologist from Bangalore. Dr. Bhat’s involvement, facilitated by VSF founder Ravi Rajhans, provided critical guidance to improve patient care standards. The collaboration was formally launched on August 31st in the presence of Sri Sri Sri Prof. Dr. A.V. Srinivasan Swami Ji.
The Foundation also organised a mega health camp from August 31st to September 2nd, in collaboration with RamKrishna Charitable Trust and Aloka Vision Program from Zeiss. Held at the Sri Paripoorna Sanathana Ayurveda Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, the camp served all residents from Neelmangla Taluk. The camp focused on eye health, blood pressure, diabetes awareness, and Ayurveda wellness. Key services included free eye screenings with prescription glasses, random blood glucose tests, and blood pressure checks, providing comprehensive care to the local community.
Belenus Champion Hospital on 31st August and Kauvery Hospital on 1st & 2nd September participated, offering an ambulance van for ECG tests, doctor consultations, and blood pressure and blood glucose checks. This added support further enhanced the camp’s healthcare offerings.
VSF also offered an exclusive experience for its members, organising a one-night stay at the Sri Paripoorna Sanathana Ayurveda Medical College Hospital. This initiative allowed VSF volunteers to explore Ayurveda’s healing benefits at a discounted rate.
Through these initiatives, the Vijai Sambhav Foundation reaffirmed its dedication to improving community health and wellness.
