Bengaluru, (Aryavarth): All of us have heard about the art of baking bread in politics. Every party, big and small, works for its political benefit. When elections are near, party leaders become cautious, and after elections are over, they can be found nowhere. The lockdown has been going on in the country for the past 56 days due to the coronavirus epidemic.
The most frightening picture of this lockdown is spreading worldwide through social media, where the pain of migrant laborers of India returning home is clearly visible. Walking thousands of kilometers, these workers have been walking for many days to go to their homes and meet their loved ones. Some died on the way, and some others were shaken by the news of losing their family during this journey. Hungry, thirsty migrant workers are moving from different states of the country to their homes in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand.
In such a situation, Rahul Gandhi reached Delhi to meet some workers belonging to Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.Their meeting with Rahul Gandhi will remain as a memorable affair for them in the sense that after meeting him they did not have to travel further on foot. When Congress leader Rahul Gandhi reached near Sukhdev Vihar flyover in Delhi on Saturday, these workers were sitting there and resting for a while. Rahul Gandhi met 14 workers, 12 of whom were from Uttar Pradesh and two from Madhya Pradesh. The workers of Uttar Pradesh were residents of Ranipur, about 55 km from Jhansi. The laborers of Madhya Pradesh were from Jatara. It is a matter of regret that when Rahul Gandhi showed kindness towards the workers, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman attacked him sharply and called it a politically motivated stunt.
Congress should not play politics with such sensitive issue: Sitharaman
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has told Congress MP Rahul Gandhi that the problem of laborers will not be solved by sitting on the road. Talking to reporters after detailing the last installment of the economic package, Nirmala Sitharaman said “Why are the congress governed states not demanding more and more trains? After all, why are they not sending laborers safely to their homes by taking more trains? In a direct attack on former Congress President Rahul Gandhi, Nirmala Sitharaman said that what will happen only by sitting with workers, instead of talking with workers, why is Rahul Gandhi not asking his chief ministers to request for more trains?, Is this not a drama? The Finance Minister has said that if Rahul intended to help, he would have walked with them carrying some of their luggages instead of sitting on the road and wasting their time only by talking. Nirmala Sitharaman said, “Does the Congress want to claim that everything is right in the states ruled by it? Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that she appealed to Sonia Gandhi not to do politics on this issue. This is not the time for politics. The Finance Minister said that we have to work together on the issue of migrant laborers. We are cooperating with all the states.
Who is doing politics?
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, after holding several press conferences recently, gave information about the allocation of Rs 20 lakh crore under the self-sufficient India scheme announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In this same press conference, she said that Rahul Gandhi should walk on foot from Delhi to meet the migrant laborers and tell them that the Congress party is doing politics even in this odd situation. However, intellectuals believe that any party leader going to meet a worker cannot be politics. While Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is doing politics on this issue by giving it a shape. They say that Rahul Gandhi knew the condition of the workers there and forwarded a helping hand out of empathy,it should not be given a political color. Because he didn’t speak anything against the central government and only comforted the workers. Political experts believe that the political moves are often made by the leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Nirmala Sitharaman also proved this. Just as she drew up the issue of Rahul Gandhi meeting workers in the midst of a financial analysis and termed his work a play, it is indeed a political ploy. Experts also say that BJP leaders see only the electoral battlefield in front of their eyes and that is why the statement of most party leaders is politically motivated.
Shiv Sena’s political move, praises Rahul Gandhi
The Shiv Sena has once again targeted the Modi government through an editorial in its mouthpiece Saamana. The editorial praises Rahul Gandhi, and the central government has been attacked. The Shiv Sena said that Rahul Gandhi stayed with the laborers on the streets of Delhi, sat for a while and talked. Due to this, the sadness of Nirmalatai (Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman) is quite surprising. If someone is sharing the suffering of workers, the government should be happy, but the opposite is happening here. Shiv Sena said that it is true that Corona has brought a new Kali Yuga. It states that the central government is not accepting its own people from neighboring states.
The Shiv Sena said, ‘How can governments treat their own people like this? The Government welcoming the minority Hindus of neighboring countries just a few days back are not ready to accept their own brothers from neighboring states. What to call this other than inhumane act? About Sitharamns address on the details of the package they said “Union Finance Minister Nirmalatai is holding a press conference every day to announce the package . However, the day this package reaches the people, it will prove to be real.
Rahul Gandhi has been highly praised in the editorial. Shiv Sena said, “Those who were saddened by the fact that a leader of the opposition (Rahul Gandhi) who holds the Gandhi name, standing on the streets and embracing the laborers, should no longer boast of humanity and tradition. They resist taking their own people into the state and hate those who talk about the suffering of the workers. It is true that Corona has brought a new Kali Yuga!”
