Bengaluru: Continuing its commitment to community health, Vijai Sambhav Foundation successfully organised a free eye screening camp for nursing students in partnership with the Aloka Vision Program by Zeiss. The camp, held on October 26, 2024, from 10 AM to 3 PM, benefitted 190+ individuals, including students, staff, and teachers from Sri Vidya Academy and Viswa Sai College of Nursing.
The initiative aimed to provide accessible eye care services, focusing on early diagnosis and treatment of vision issues. During the camp, participants received comprehensive eye check-ups, and those in need will be provided with free prescription spectacles.
Akshay Kumar, Vijay Shanker Gupta, and Ravi Rajhans (chairman) who led the camp on received special appreciation for their efforts in coordinating the event and ensuring its smooth execution on the ground. Their diligent work and commitment contributed to the success of this meaningful initiative, which emphasised the importance of proactive eye care in the nursing community.
