Bengaluru: Storm clouds are gathering over Adishwar India Limited, the parent company of Adishwar Electro World, as a barrage of customer complaints exposes what many allege to be a systematic pattern of fraud and exploitation. The company, owned and operated by Paras Jain and Nirmal Jain, is now facing severe backlash from both consumers and activists.
According to records accessed from District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commissions in Karnataka, multiple petitions have been filed against Adishwar for misleading advertisements, denial of warranty claims, overcharging, and non-delivery of promised services. Several customers allege that despite purchasing high-value appliances with extended warranties, Adishwar refuses to honor repair or replacement commitments, often demanding additional payments under dubious pretexts.
Consumer rights groups have accused the Jain brothers of “running a retail fraud empire,” arguing that their business model thrives on false discounts, hidden costs, and blatant warranty violations.
A senior advocate representing one set of petitioners remarked:
“Adishwar’s practices go beyond negligence. This is a deliberate attempt to exploit thousands of families who trust their brand. The owners Paras Jain and Nirmal Jain must be held personally accountable.”
Sources within the KarnatakaState Consumer Forum confirm that complaints against Adishwar are steadily increasing, with some cases now under review for criminal liability under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
While the company has remained silent on the allegations, consumer activists are pressing for urgent intervention from the Competition Commission of India (CCI) and state enforcement agencies.
For thousands of betrayed customers, Adishwar India Limited—once marketed as a trusted household name—now stands exposed as a brand synonymous with broken promises and shattered trust.
