The Aryavarth Express Mumbai, March 26: After his acclaimed performance in Aditya Dhar’s blockbuster Dhurandhar: The Revenge, Sanjay Dutt is all set to star in his next film, Aakhri Sawal. The makers released the first look poster on Instagram, giving fans a glimpse of the intense thriller.
The poster features Dutt in a serious, contemplative pose framed by a large question mark, with dark, fiery visuals and the tagline: “The Question India Never Stopped Asking,” hinting at the film’s suspenseful theme.
Produced by Nikhil Nanda, Dhanraj Nathwani, and Sanjay Dutt under Nikhil Nanda Motion Pictures and Neem Tree Entertainment, the film also stars Amit Sadh, Namashi Chakraborty, Sameera Reddy, Tridha Choudhury, and Neetu Chandra. Aakhri Sawal is slated to release in cinemas on May 15, 2026.
The announcement comes as Dutt celebrates the success of Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge, in which he portrayed Pakistani police officer Chaudhary Aslam. The film, starring Ranveer Singh, continues to dominate the box office. Dhurandhar 2 is a sequel to the 2025 hit Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar and produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, featuring a star-studded cast including R. Madhavan, Rakesh Bedi, and Arjun Rampal.
