Agency(New Delhi): The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) celebrated Ram Navami by launching a new website titled ‘Aap ka Ram Rajya,’ intended to display the party’s accomplishments in Delhi and Punjab. AAP MP Sanjay Singh announced the initiative at a press conference, where he was joined by fellow AAP leaders Atishi, Saurabh Bharadwaj, and Jasmine Shah.
Sanjay Singh emphasized the party’s decade of governance achievements. “In these 10 years, we not only formed the government thrice in Delhi but also secured a resounding victory in Punjab,” Singh remarked. He highlighted the global recognition of the Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann governments for their exemplary governance. “Delhi is the only state to maintain a profitable budget despite extensive developmental work,” he added.
Atishi drew comparisons between the mythological and political quests for a righteous kingdom. She linked Arvind Kejriwal’s efforts in governance to the legendary trials faced by Lord Ram, noting, “Like Lord Ram, who faced hardships to establish Ram Rajya and kept his promises despite exile, Kejriwal has faced similar challenges over the past nine years to fulfill his commitments to Delhi and Punjab.”
The website’s launch, Atishi explained, aims to demonstrate to the public how proper governance can significantly improve lives. She stressed the educational and transformative effects of the happiness curriculum featured on the site, which includes testimonials and statistical data to substantiate its success.
Saurabh Bharadwaj contributed to the discussion by defining two visions of Ram Rajya, contrasting Mahatma Gandhi’s ideal state with Nathuram Godse’s interpretation. He elaborated that the term symbolizes a model state that ensures welfare and problem-free living for its people, reflecting the harmony described in Goswami Tulsidas’s Ram Charitmanas.
Jasmine Shah detailed the website’s features, emphasizing its non-political nature and focus on factual content supported by data and personal stories. “This platform isn’t just about political achievements—it’s a showcase of real impacts on real people’s lives,” Shah concluded.
