Agency(Uttar Pradesh): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken a firm stance against corruption in recruitment exams, announcing decisive actions against individuals found tampering with the system. Speaking at an event where he distributed appointment letters to new sub-divisional magistrates (SDMs), deputy superintendents of police (DSPs), and treasurer/account officers, Adityanath emphasized the government’s commitment to maintaining a fair and transparent selection process.
The Chief Minister praised the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission for completing the selection process in a record nine months, asserting that it was conducted without any external influence or recommendation. Adityanath underscored the government’s resolve to punish those who attempt to undermine the integrity of examinations, stating that raids and property confiscations have been carried out against the offenders.
Adityanath’s remarks reflect his administration’s broader efforts to improve the state’s image and governance standards, citing a positive shift in public perception towards Uttar Pradesh under his leadership. He encouraged the newly appointed officials to serve with dedication and integrity, highlighting the importance of their roles in public service and governance.
The Chief Minister also touched upon technological advancements and the state’s progress toward digitizing revenue functions, advising the appointees to be vigilant and proactive in resolving revenue-related disputes.
