Agency (Bengaluru) : On March 9, the Rameshwaram Cafe in Bengaluru, which was the scene of an explosion that injured ten people a week ago, is scheduled to reopen to the public.
According to the authorities, the restaurant has metal detectors installed, and two people have been employed to monitor all patrons and any unusual activities.
The proprietor of Rameswaram Cafe, Raghavendra, stated, “The puja ceremonies are still going on today. The National Anthem was sung as the cafe opened at 6.30 a.m. Two metal detectors have been put as a precaution, per the police department’s recommendation, said Raghavendra, who also mentioned that some dignitaries, including ministers, are anticipated to attend in the evening.
“All of our cafes have the same safety precautions in place. A pair of people are tasked with keeping an eye on patron activity, noting both their possessions and conduct,” he stated.
Speaking about the current inquiry, Raghavendra stated, “We are confident that the perpetrators will be apprehended soon because the investigation is progressing rapidly.”
Four terror suspects who were incarcerated have been taken into custody by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) to be questioned about the Rameshwaram Cafe blast in Bengaluru. This decision was made after the NIA discovered possible linkages between the incident and the Islamic State’s Ballari module of Karnataka. The Home Ministry made the decision to turn over the blast case to the counterterrorism organization on March 4.
For questioning about the blast case, the NIA has apprehended Minaz, also known as Sulaiman, Syed Sameer, Anas Iqbal Sheikh, and Shaan Rehaman.
