New Delhi (Agency): In an eye-catching display of resourcefulness, a farmer in Bihar’s Samastipur district garnered attention when he transported green fodder for cattle on his luxury BMW car. The video capturing this unique spectacle quickly went viral on social media, particularly on Instagram.
The farmer, identified as Anshu Kumar, became an overnight sensation after the video surfaced, showing him loading bundles of green fodder onto the rooftop of his BMW car before driving it home.
In response to the video, social media users expressed a range of reactions. Some marveled at the ingenuity and determination of the farmer, highlighting that “anything is possible in Bihar.” However, others noted that the car appeared to lack a number plate, raising suspicions that it might be a stolen vehicle.
Clarifying the situation, Anshu Kumar explained that he operates a tour and travel business in addition to being a farmer, with his base in Jitwarpur locality. He cited the scarcity of green fodder in urban areas as the reason behind his unconventional choice of using the BMW for transportation.
Anshu emphasized that providing green fodder to his cattle was his primary goal, as it leads to increased milk production. He recounted placing the green fodder on the car’s rooftop and was on his way back home when someone filmed the scene and shared it on social media.
Addressing concerns about the car’s authenticity and ownership, Anshu asserted, “I want to inform them that I have purchased it with hard-earned money. I also own a Mahindra Scorpio, Thar, and several other sedan cars.”
This viral incident serves as a testament to the innovative approaches employed by individuals in rural areas to overcome challenges and meet the needs of their livelihoods. Anshu Kumar’s unconventional use of his BMW car for transporting green fodder highlights the lengths to which farmers go to ensure the well-being of their livestock and sustain their agricultural endeavors.
