New Delhi (Agency): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), preparing for the upcoming assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, is working diligently to ensure victory. In a strategic move, the party has delegated substantial responsibilities in these two states to its leaders associated with Jharkhand.
BJP National Vice President and in-charge of Jharkhand, Laxmikant Bajpai; BJP MP and former President of Jharkhand, Deepak Prakash; Shahdol division Jharkhand MLA Anant Ojha; and Jharkhand General Secretary (Organization), Karamveer Singh, have been given key roles in strengthening the party in Chhattisgarh. Karamveer Singh has been specifically assigned the Bastar division in Chhattisgarh.
These leaders’ responsibilities include bolstering the party’s presence in their respective divisions, establishing better communication, and enhancing coordination between party leaders and workers at the booth level. This groundwork is essential for the party’s electoral strategy in these states.
Currently, the BJP has 64 thousand booths in Madhya Pradesh and has appointed booth in-charge to the Panna Pramukh for managing the election process in the state. This emphasis on booth management and outreach is a consistent approach by the BJP, and they conduct such booth-strengthening programs before every election.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also been actively involved in motivating the party workers. In June, while addressing more than one million BJP workers under the ‘Mera Booth Sabse Mazboot’ program in Madhya Pradesh, he emphasized the importance of interacting with people while serving them and strengthening the party through this connection. He urged the party to accelerate the process of reaching out to the grassroots level and establishing a favorable image in the hearts of the people.
This strategic move by the BJP to enlist its Jharkhand leadership for the task in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh reflects the party’s focused approach to ensuring victory in the upcoming elections. It underscores the importance of strong grassroots-level organization and community engagement in political campaigns.
The decision to leverage the expertise and connections of Jharkhand’s leadership also showcases the party’s adaptability and determination in electoral politics. As the elections draw closer, the groundwork being laid by these leaders may prove vital in translating into votes and securing victories in key constituencies. The BJP’s well-calibrated approach to booth management and its continued efforts to foster communication and coordination at the local level may indeed shape the electoral outcomes in these crucial states.
