Lucknow: On Friday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched the registration process for plots in the Anant Nagar (Mohan Road) housing scheme, a major initiative by the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA). The project spans 785 acres and is set to cost Rs 6,500 crore.

During the inauguration, CM Adityanath expressed his congratulations to the residents of Lucknow, highlighting that this new housing scheme is a significant step toward improving the living standards in the city. He emphasized that the priority of the “double-engine government” was to enhance the ease of living for the people.

In his address to the media, CM Adityanath remarked, “After 20 years, Lucknow is witnessing the launch of a new housing scheme equipped with modern amenities and a well-structured action plan. This is a significant achievement, and I congratulate the residents of Lucknow for this momentous occasion. Our government remains committed to improving the ease of living.”

Sharing the news on social media platform X, the CM reiterated that providing affordable housing and enhancing the quality of life were the top priorities for the government. He added, “On the auspicious occasion of Vasantic Navratri, we inaugurated the registration process for the Anant Nagar residential scheme, which will offer state-of-the-art facilities. This scheme, proposed in 785 acres with a total investment of Rs 6,500 crore, will be a significant asset to the residents of Lucknow.”

On April 3, CM Adityanath held a review meeting with elected officials and government representatives at the Circuit Seminar Hall. The CM also emphasized that any projects to be inaugurated or launched by the Prime Minister should be thoroughly prepared in advance.

Additionally, he addressed the issue of land subsidence at certain locations along Namo Ghat and directed a quality inspection followed by immediate repairs. CM Adityanath also stressed the importance of an actionable plan for the beautification of the Varuna Riverfront and the timely execution of the project.

During the meeting, Commissioner Kaushal Raj Sharma briefed the CM on the arrangements for the Prime Minister’s visit to Raja Talab in Mehndiganj. The CM ensured that security measures and facilities such as drinking water, shade, mobile toilets, and ORS packets were to be arranged for the event’s attendees, ensuring a smooth experience for all.
