Bengaluru ( Aryavarth): The World is yet to recognize the Genocide inflicted on the Hindus of India for 800 years by the Arab, Turkish, Mughal and Afghan occupying forces. Being a Hindu, Sikh or Buddhist today means, our ancestors suffered brutal torture for centuries, yet stuck to their faith.
Arab, Turk and Mughal rulers of India can be summed up as Women and Wine and Looting. Countless rapes, murders, torcher and humiliation is what the Hindus suffered under the Muslim rulers starting from 800 AD to 1700 AD. India has been put to shame by our historians and politicians, who have glorified them as great rulers. In no fewer words, Mughals and Turks were a bunch of slave traders, rapists and dacoit’s that looted and plundered India and its women.
S.K Lal, In his book, Growth of Muslim Population in Medieval India estimates that about six crores to eight crore Hindus and Buddhists were killed in India between the year 1000 and 1525, due to the Islamic invasion of the Indian subcontinent. The most gruesome holocaust in World History has been whitewashed from the History. We should never forget History; it should live in every culture so that the atrocities committed can never be allowed to happen again.
The Hindu holocaust finds no mention in our books, and it is wrong that our children, both Hindus and Muslims, don’t know what our ancestors went through. The problem is India has relied on historians influenced by people like Marx, who had inherent despise against Indian History due to their impotence to comprehend it. “Indian society has no history at all, at least no known history. What we call its History, is but the History of the successive intruders who founded their empires on the passive basis of that unresisting and unchanging society said, Marx.
Why is our History glorifying these Murders?
A large part of the blame goes to the political establishment, by promoting British, Islamic and leftists leaning writers, Indian History has been written from invader’s perspective, and thus barbarism got passed as heroic ‘bravery’. These so-called “seculars have done gross injustice”. This is not secularism, its shielding perpetrators of Genocide. The worst disservice to Hindus, Sikhs and Maratha’s was naming our roads in Delhi on Mughal rulers, we had a road called Aurangzeb road!
Therefore, 300 years after the end of the cruel rule of Mughal, few Hindus know that the biggest holocaust of human History happened right here on Indian soil during the centuries of Islamic dark-age. Sikhs are the only one, who are routinely reminded of the brutality our ancestors faced to keep our faith, the sacrifice of Sikh Gurus to prevent final Islamization is etched in the folklore of Sikhs.
These Islamic conquerors justified their deeds by claiming it was their religious duty to smite non-believers. Cloaking themselves in the banner of Islam, they claimed they were fighting for their faith when, in reality, they were indulging in straightforward slaughter and pillage.
Islamic rulers were never able to capture entire India and at best ruled only parts of India. The final nail in the coffin of Muslim rule was put by Sikhs (Guru Gobind Singh Ji) and Marathas (Shivaji The Great). However their glories and victories don’t find right and adequate space in the Indian school text books. Instead we are reminded of barbaric Islamic rule and told they were great and they are portrayed as Indians. This was British strategy to downplay our Hindu civilization and post-Independence, the glorious Hindu history of sacrifice and atrocities by Muslim invaders were whitewashed as a part of dirty political agenda.
High Hopes From the Modi Government
Eventually, the brave Maratha’s and Sikhs finished the Mughal empire. Many leaders from BJP have time and again said, History needs to reflect the truth. Other parties should be forced to take a stand, it’s never too late to correct a mistake. This is about India and our debt to our ancestors.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah, in a seminar at Banaras Hindu University recently, spoke about the need to “rewrite history” from an “Indian point of view” and went on to ask, “who is stopping us from amending history”.
It took India about 500 years to get Lord Ram’s temple back, because even though the Hindus are in the majority, our confidence and mindset is still a slave to the 800 years of Islamic rule. Anything, we say is branded as “Hindutva” and our political parties play vote bank politics on it. The fake seculars need to get us a public apology for all that, our forefathers suffered.
Hinduism is a way of life, it is an idea that respects all forms of life and non-living beings; it is much bigger than a religion; it is a message to humanity on how to be humane and co-exist in harmony. 800 years of religious persecutions of Hindus should be taught globally, so that we never allow any other religion to dehumanize humans in such a way again. PM Modi is capable, must use his network to get this in curriculum of other countries as well.
We have to start by telling our children, the atrocities, rapes and looting our forefathers have suffered to ensure Hinduism survived. The Hinduism would have become extinct like Parsis, had our forefathers not persisted and suffered, their souls in heaven are demanding that we record their sacrifice. Its time to repay our ancestral debt.
Fall of Raja Dahir Sen of Sindh in 712 AD – First Mass Murder of Hindus
Our Indian history books don’t talk about Raja Dahir Sen. This is not an isolated incident. English historians have omitted many parts of History. This shows Indian culture in poor light, and we are shown as a poor land, that only improved after Mughals came.
The Province of Sind (currently in Pakistan) was considered the richest and the most populous satrapy of the Indus River Civilization. The Conquest of Sindh was the most significant loss of Indian Heritage and Cultural Advancement. We lost the root of our civilization and downfall of Indian History began. In the next centuries about eight crores, Hindus would be killed by Muslim rulers.
Raja Dahir Sen was the last Hindu king of Sindh, today a province with the highest percentage of Hindus in Pakistan. Raja Dahir of Brahman dynasty ruled Sindh from 679 C.E. to 712 C.E. The merchants of Arabs were acquainted with the sea coast to the west of India due to trade relations. One prime factor that led the Arabs to invade Indian territories was the vast wealth of India. The foundation of Arab domination in Sindh in 712 A.D. was the result of several efforts to enter India.
It is said that Raja Dahir had given shelter in Sindh to a well-known follower and family member of Imam Hussian, Muhammad Bin Allafi. Mohammed Qassim attacked India, and he was sent to take revenge on Raja Dahir for protecting Muhammad Bin Allafi. However, it is said, they created a sideliner story to hide the real reason. After Raja Dahir Sen’s defeat and death, his wife Queen Rani Bai fought against the Arabs. She was also defeated, and she performed the rites of Jauhar to save her honour. Sixty thousand slaves, and 30 young ladies of royal blood, was sent to Hajjaj In Western Arabia, along with the head of King Dahir. Note the spine chilling brutality and hatred for Hindu rulers.
It is said that In a letter, Hajjaj instructed Muhammad bin Qasim, his seventeen-year-old nephew and son-in-law. “The way of granting pardon prescribed by law is that when you encounter the unbelievers, strike off their heads make a great slaughter among them.(Those that survive) bind them in bonds—Grant pardon to no one of the enemy and spare none of them etc., etc. The lives of some prisoners could be spared, but they could not be released.”
The period of Qasim’s rule after the killing of Hindu Raja Dahir was the darkest period in the History of Sindh with record massive forced conversions, destruction and genocides. Many women of Sindh were enslaved during Qasim’s rule and were sent to Muslim harems. The torture our ancestors faced at the hands of these Muslim invaders is unheard, anywhere in the World.
Mahmud of Ghazni
Mahmud of Ghazni, from Afghanistan, raided India many times from 1000-1030 C.E. As per a Persian historian and Indographer, Ghazni “utterly ruined the prosperity of Hindustan.” For example, the following occurred when he attacked Mathura, the birthplace of Lord Krishna: “In the middle of the city there was a temple larger and finer than the rest, which can neither be described nor painted. The Sultan was of the opinion that 200 years would have been required to build it…the Sultan gave orders that all the temples should be burnt with naptha and fire, and leveled with the ground.”
The biggest Murderer Of Hindus, India, has ever seen – Taimur.
Taimur, a Turkic local in December 1398, unleashed in Delhi the worst recorded massacre in Indian History. Timur on the killings in Loni, writes in his autobiography –
“That’s why there was no other way apart from making them food of sword. I declared in my camp that all the captive men must be killed and those who oppose these killings will also be killed, and his entire wealth will be given to the one who reveals this. When the Ghazis of Islam got this news, they picked up their swords and killed their captives. That day, one lac impure idol-worshipping Kafirs were killed.”
As per his demonic personality, he continued carnage and destroyed Delhi in fifteen days. While devastating the town, he looted and burnt big houses, business centres and temples. He butchered countless men and women, burnt children and women alive by throwing them in the inferno, made a garland of thousands of skulls and put them on display in lifeless markets.
Babur, a Looter, Killer of Hindus and a lover of a Teenage Boy
According to Dilip Hiro’s Babur Nama, derived from Tuzuk-i-Babur written by Babur. By his admission, Babur was infatuated with Baburi, a teenage boy, on seeing whom Babur composed a couple of couplets. If Babur were alive today, he would have been called a paedophile and prosecuted under POSCO act.
Babur says in his memoirs, “In those leisurely days I discovered in myself a strange inclination, nay! As the verse says, ‘I maddened and afflicted myself’ for a boy in the camp-Bazar, his very name, Bāburī, fitting in. Up till then, I had had no inclination for any-one, indeed of love and desire, either by hear-say or experience, I had not heard, I had not talked.”
Unlike what our History portrays, Babur hated and despised Hindus. Upon the defeat of Rana Sanga in 1527, Babur raised towers of Hindu skulls at Khanua. Babur repeated the same horrors after capturing the fort of Chanderi. “For the sake of Islam, I became a wanderer, I battled infidels and Hindus, I am determined to become a martyr. Thank God I became a Killer of Non-Muslims!,” says Babur in his memoir.
Murderer Ahmad Shah Abdali
Ahmad Shah Abdali also known as Durrani – the ruler of Afghanistan, invaded India seven times between 1748 and 1767. The Sikh bore his brunt as they bordered his territory. His atrocities and plunders remain unparalleled in contemporary History. He looted masses, raped and kidnapped women and massacred thousands. In 1757, he damaged the Golden Temple and filled the holy pool with the blood of cows. In 1762, he massacred 25,000 civilians in a single day, which came to be known as “Bada Ghalughara”.
A chronicle called Tarikh-I-Alamgiri proudly recorded the deeds of Afghan ruler, Ahmad Shah Abdali who attacked India in 1757 AD and reached Mathura:
“Abdali’s soldiers would be paid 5 Rupees (a sizeable amount at the time) for every enemy head brought in. Every horseman had loaded up all his horses with the plundered property, and atop of it rode the girl-captives and the slaves. The severed heads were tied up in rugs like bundles of grain and placed on the heads of the captives…Then the heads were stuck upon lances and taken to the gate of the chief minister for payment.
“It was an extraordinary display! Daily did this manner of slaughter and plundering proceed. And at night the shrieks of the women captives who were being raped deafened the ears of the people…All those heads that had been cut off were built into pillars, and the captive men upon whose heads those bloody bundles had been brought in, were made to grind corn, and then their heads too were cut off. These things went on all the way to the city of Agra, nor was any part of the country spared.”

“The Muslim conquests, down to the 16th century, were for the Hindus a pure struggle of life and death. Entire cities were burnt down and the populations massacred, with hundreds of thousands killed in every campaign, and similar numbers deported as slaves. Every new invader made (often literally) his hills of Hindus skulls. Thus, the conquest of Afghanistan in the year 1000 was followed by the annihilation of the Hindu population; the region is still called the Hindu Kush, i.e. Hindu slaughter.”
