Krishna Janmashtami celebration in Sri Paripoorna Sanathana Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital and Research Centre

Bangalore: Sri Paripoorna Sanathana Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital and Research Centre celebrated Sri Krishna Janmashtami titled Gokuleshwara Janmotsavaha on 26th of August 2024. The event was held at the college campus and organised by Punarvasu batch 2K18-19.

The idol of Lord Krishna was decorated with flowers and streamers, adding to the festive atmosphere. It was filled with the spirit of devotion and joy as staff, students, and patients came together to celebrate Krishna Janmashtami, the birth of Lord Krishna.

The celebration started at 2:30pm with a special Aarti offered to Lord Krishna led by trustee C A K S Ramprasad, directors Prashant Goenka and V V SN Rao, dean, and all teaching staff.

Later, the dahi handi ritual, where Mr. Jaydeep and the team from Punarvasu batch 2K18-19 formed pyramids to break the clay pot filled with curd, was the main attraction. Then all the students and staff of SPSAMC performed mesmerising Garba dance.

Later, Chairman Pujya Swamiji Sri Sri Sri Prof. Dr. A V Srinivasan Swamiji arrived and added colours to the celebration. Pujya Swamiji offered Aarti to Lord Krishna, followed by Ashirvachana. Then all the students took blessings from Lord Krishna and Pujya Swamiji. Prasad distribution was done at the end as a symbol of blessings from Lord Krishna.
