Jaipur (Rajasthan): Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma celebrated his birthday on Monday with a series of spiritual and social engagements in Jaipur, coinciding with the completion of two years of his government in the state. He was accompanied by his wife, Geeta Sharma, throughout the day.
The celebrations began with prayers at the historic Govind Dev Ji Temple, followed by a visit to the Moti Dungri Ganesh Temple, where the couple sought blessings on the special occasion. Emphasising compassion and service, CM Sharma and his wife later performed gauseva at the Pinjrapol Gaushala in Sanganer, highlighting the importance of animal welfare.
As part of his social outreach, the Chief Minister also visited a blood donation camp organised in the city, encouraging people to participate in the life-saving initiative. The day’s activities reflected a blend of devotion, public service and social responsibility, marking both personal and governance milestones.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended birthday greetings to CM Bhajanlal Sharma, praising his efforts toward Rajasthan’s development and youth empowerment. In a post on X, the Prime Minister said the Chief Minister was making noteworthy contributions to strengthening the state’s development journey and fulfilling the aspirations of young people, and wished him good health and a long life.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah also conveyed his wishes, commending CM Sharma for preserving Rajasthan’s heritage and culture while working for the welfare of farmers, women and youth. He said the Chief Minister’s efforts reflected Prime Minister Modi’s vision of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas” and prayed for his good health and longevity.
