Why are lawbreakers being dealt politely ?

Bengaluru, (Aryavarth): India is fighting back Covid – 19 with all its might. Right from the Prime Minister, Chief Ministers, administrative officers, medical workers, law and order personnels to sanitation workers collectively being referred as Corona warriors, are providing service day and night to save the country from the clutches of the deadly virus that compelled the world to come to a halt.

Lots of conspiracy theories are being discussed throughout media and social platforms wherein China is being blamed for the massacre. Amidst all these blame games India has a different situation to fight. Even in these difficult times India has to confront its root problems. Problem of illiteracy, religious arrogance and communal intolerance. When the Prime Minister announced Lockdown1.0 , a fatal bomb was yet to be burst meaning the Tablighi Jamaat of Nizamuddin was yet to be discovered. The place of pilgrimage was filled with almost 2000 people despite the lockdown due to which the Delhi Police has registered a case under the epidemic law against 7 people including Maulana Saad, the head of Tabligi Jamaat. Now the question is, doesn’t it question the sanity or sensibility of those people who were gathering there at large. Tablighi Jamaat is a completely Islamic (religious) organization, which gives importance to the worship.

This organization is not meant for any economic, educational, social, political and cultural activities of Muslim society. It only and only propagates Islam among Muslims. So does it deduce that the sect is blind when it comes to science and facts. Is it true that they do not even care about the law and order conditions of the country? We had enquired in one of our earlier articles about the permissions that they had obtained to organise such a huge gathering in the beginning of March although the first case of Covid 19 was reported much back during the end of January. Our questions are yet to be addressed by the authorities. Meanwhile a lot of overwhelming events occured one after another which inferred that the Jamaatis were actively spreading the virus and not even concerned about their community. Nizamuddin became the hotspot and search for Jamaatis went on in many states from which they have come to attend the function. They were deliberately hiding and making it difficult for the authorities to isolate them. But the real blow came when the head of Tablighi Jamaat Maulana Shaad isolated himself in an undisclosed location.

Who is rescuing the Maulana?

Each and every time our questions remain unanswered our voices will get louder. We the citizens have the right to know about the authority who gave the permission of the Jamaat. It is held every year, it must be known to both the Central and the state Government that a huge number of people from different countries, numbering nearly ten thousand assemble and organise the program for several days. So on what basis were permissions granted by keeping the country’s security conditions at stake. Even If we consider the situation, assuming that the permissions of the congregation were taken much before the actual Covid 19 emergency situation emerged, our next question is why there were no authorities who could facilitate and disperse the population just after the program ended. Why were there so many people staying back even after the Jamaat ended a couple of days before? And then when the crowd came to the notice of the authorities , why no steps were taken against the Jamaatis who disobeyed the PM’s call of curfew?

The Maulana being the head of the group should have been taken into custody and asked the whereabouts of the Jamaatis who were hiding and playing an indecent game at the time of emergency. But he was left alone and given the time to hide himself in an undisclosed location. When each and every state were complaining about them carrying the virus in different parts of the country, he was sidelined from the picture and given a chance to hide himself. Our question is what refrained the law and order to arrest him and interrogate him? He was the head of mobilizing that group of people who gave rise to cases of Covid – 19 all over India in manifold. In other words he was willfully playing with the law and order conditions of the country just under the nose of the authorities at the national capital. Despite being the Nations villain he was given the immunity to hide himself and act as per his wishes. Why is he being given so much importance? The person who should be behind the bars and be grilled is living loose in peace. For a long time nobody knew about his whereabouts.

Later, the Crime Branch received information that Maulana Saad was quarantined in Zakir Nagar’s house for many days. Despite this, he had not got the corona test going to the government hospital. In such a situation, questions arise whether Maulana Saad intentionally refused to be a part of the investigation of the crime branch. According to sources, the Delhi Police had advised some people to get corona tested. After the advice of the police, the mobile phones of some of them have been switched off. Whether these people deliberately do not want to get tested in government hospitals? Meanwhile, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) had filed a case of money laundering by niggling Nizamuddin Markaz, Maulana Saad, chief of Tabligi Jamaat and the management committee.

The ED has registered a case based on the Delhi Police’s FIR. They are extensively accused of taking funding from the country and abroad and raising money through hawala. In response Maulana Saad wrote a letter to the crime branch of Delhi Police, saying that he wanted to cooperate in the investigation against him and he has already become part of this investigation by responding to the notices he received. In the letter, Maulana has told the investigating agency that if there is a new section in his FIR, then please inform him and also provide him a copy. Delhi Police has refused to accept the plea of Maulana Saad’s lawyers that Maulana Saad has joined the investigation of the crime branch. The Crime Branch of Delhi Police has told Maulana Saad that he should first go for the corona test and submit his report to Delhi Police. After seeing the medical report, Maulana Saad will be summoned to join the inquiry.

Who is instigating Jamaatis?

After the dispersion of Jamaatis from Nizamuddin they went back to their designated places and massively spread the virus. Almost 70 percent of the total cases had links to Tablighi Jamaat. Later on, lots of cases of attacks and assaults on medical teams and policemen were reported. Who all are instigating these people to abuse and attack the medical teams. Are they so ignorant that they don’t even understand their own good or they are being channelised by somebody to propagate hatred. At this time of crisis aren’t they proving one point, that they are least bothered about the country? Where are our intelligence officers, undercover agents ? Don’t they have anything to say about the innovative ways that are being applied to cripple the country? T

he behaviour and actions of the Jamaats that we have witnessed in these few days tells loud and clear that we the common people of India are in a grave situation. If we go back and introspect some of the incidents we will find how discreetly they are determined to create a massacre. The people of Tabligi Jamaat admitted in the Isolation of Ghaziabad Government Hospital behave indecently with the hospital staff and nurses. Reacting to the hooliganism the CMO of the hospital informed the police. On receiving the information, the Ghaziabad Police reached the spot and registered a case against 6 accused of the Jamaat. The hospital staff complained that the people of the Jamaat were walking around the hospital without wearing pants and making obscene gestures to the nurses. At the same time, the hospital administration said that the people of the Jamaat were demanding bidi cigarettes from doctors and nurses. Also, dirty and vulgar songs were being sung in a loud voice.

Other patients were suffering from this. The police arrived at the spot, recorded the statements of the nurses and staff of the hospital and ascertained action. Also there were reports from other isolation centers that some people of the Jamaat had abused the doctors and other employees of the hospital. Deepak Kumar, CPRO of Northern Railway had told that all these people are spitting in different centers. Along with this, they were also spitting on doctors and employees. They knew that spitting of corona virus infected or suspected people increases the risk of spreading its infection manifold. According to CPRO, those people were behaving poorly and were demanding unnecessary things to eat and drink. According to CPRO Deepak Kumar, all those people were mistreating the doctors involved in their treatment and the staff who were caring for them. They are all spitting in place at the Quarantine Center. So what does all these reflect about the people? A minimum sense of responsibility would not allow them to do such actions. It is evident that hatred towards any person does not come without any reason. It is these hooliganism that they were practicing which compelled the media and social activists to voice rage against them.

While the government of Uttar Pradesh was working to protect those infected with the coronavirus, some people were not willing to let it succeed. A team of police and health department went to Nawabpura, hotspot area of Moradabad. They were attacked by pelting stones and damaged three of the team’s vehicles. Seven people including a doctor in the team were beaten and injured. Police registered a case against 221 and arrested 17 people including seven women. The corona-infected Sartaj, a resident of Haji Neb Wali Mosque in Nawabpura of Thana Nagfani area of Moradabad died. Earlier, Sartaj’s elder brother Raunak died under suspicious circumstances. He was not investigated. Both lived in the same house after coming back from Chennai a few days ago.

On Wednesday, the Health Department team led by Dr. Sudhish Chandra Agarwal went to Nawabpura to quarantine the family of Sartaj’s brother Raunak. His team also included pharmacists Sanjeev Kumar, Chhatrapal Singh. The team was also accompanied by an ambulance. Muniraj Singh was driving the ambulance. Ambulances also boarded EMT Pankaj Kumar and Atar Singh. Two soldiers were also in the security of the team. Apart from the ambulance, the police also had another vehicle. Inspector Sunil Kumar in charge of hawthorn came from his vehicle. As the team began to take on Raunak’s family, the mob attacked. Men and women and children started pelting stones from the roofs of the house. They pulled Dr. Sudhish from the car and severely injured him. The mob also beat up other members of the rescue team. Police of several police stations reached out for information. First SP city Amit Kumar Anand arrived. Later DM Rakesh Kumar and SSP Amit Pathak arrived and handled the situation. After the incident, the miscreants hid in some houses and some crossed the Ramganga river and fled towards the forest. Later, the police forcefully opened the doors of the houses and caught hold of the miscreants. Meanwhile, the city Imam Syed Masoom Ali Azad also reached the spot. He explained to the people that the police and administration is for their protection only Not opposing them but cooperating. A lawsuit has been registered under the National Security Act.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken the incident of attack on health workers in Moradabad very seriously. Yogi said that attacking the medical team is an unforgivable crime. Action will be taken against such culprits under the Disaster Control Act and NSA. Not only this, the loss of state property made by the guilty persons will also be repaid from their property. The incident of attack on police, health and sanitation workers working day and night in the hour of disaster is an unforgivable crime. He strongly condemns this. Such unruly elements should be dealt with strictly with public safety. ADG law and order PV Ramasastri says that strict instructions have been given to arrest the attackers. Without any instigation such an incident would not have happenned. It has also been instructed to investigate these points. Strict action will be taken against such accused. After the incident of the attack, ADG Law and Order PV Ramashtri told that the DM and SSP have reached the spot. He said, this is a heinous crime and strict action will be taken against the culprits. He said, the society is fully cooperating, but some people are doing such activities because of rumours. The accused will be identified and action will be taken.

Media gave rise to #CoronaJihad

Such irresponsible behaviour in Nizamuddin, Ghaziabad and Moradabad by the people of this sect gave rise to Hashtags such as #CoronaJihad, #NizamuddinMarkaz and #TablighiJamat. They have been trending on Twitter ever since the case of Tabligi Jamaat’s religious conference came to light.Maulana Arshad Madani, president of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind, issued a press statement saying that such reporting was being done in the fight against Corona, sending the message that the spread of Corona infection in the country Muslim society alone is responsible. It is also an attempt to give a communal color to this epidemic, which hurts the religious goodwill of the country.

They have also called it an insult to Muslim society. At the same time, Mufti Atik Bastavi, a member of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board, has also objected to such reporting. He said that the media is the strongest pillar to tell the truth of our society. It is expected to play a very precise and fair role. Since their reports have a major impact on the society, they should not use any offensive language during his reporting, which increases social envy. America has expressed objection to these hashtags and said that it seems that the corona virus has been spread by the people of the Muslim community. This kind of sentence is quite unfortunate
