He warned against the distractions that Prime Minister Modi might deploy in the final days leading up to the elections, accusing him of attempting to divert attention from genuine concerns. Gandhi cited Modi’s unfulfilled promise of generating 2 crore jobs, attributing the shortfall to flawed policies such as the implementation of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) and demonetization.

The Congress party, in its manifesto for the Lok Sabha polls, has explicitly pledged to address the issue of unemployment by filling approximately 30 lakh government vacancies. The manifesto also outlines plans to collaborate with state governments to ensure timely recruitment for vacancies in panchayats and municipal bodies. As the Lok Sabha election unfolds across seven phases until June 1, all eyes are set on the outcome, which will be determined by the vote count on June 4. (ANI)
