Akhilesh Yadav Critiques BJP’s Election Campaign

"BJP's fading power in speeches," says Akhilesh Yadav

Agency(New Delhi):Samajwadi Party (SP) President Akhilesh Yadav, while addressing rallies in Aligarh and Hathras, accused the BJP of displaying signs of weakness in their recent speeches, suggesting that these are indicative of their declining grip on power as the election results loom.

Yadav criticized the central rhetoric used by BJP leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who he claimed focuses on divisive issues rather than substantive governance. “You’ve heard the recent speeches from Delhi and Lucknow – the panic is evident. They know they’re losing power,” Yadav remarked.

In his speech, he promised that the INDIA bloc, if elected, would not only continue to provide current rations to the poor but also enhance them with nutritious food items. He also accused the BJP of harboring the largest “warehouse” of criminals and corrupt individuals, asserting that a change in administration would rectify this situation.

Yadav further attacked the BJP’s economic policies, particularly criticizing their handling of electoral bonds and their alleged favoritism towards wealthy industrialists at the expense of farmers. “The BJP has facilitated the escape of rich loan defaulters while ignoring the plight of our farmers, whose loans remain unpaid,” he stated.

Moreover, Yadav voiced concerns about the BJP’s constitutional commitments, suggesting that their leaders are openly contemplating amendments that could threaten democratic foundations, such as voting rights. He framed the upcoming election as a crucial battle to protect the Constitution from such alterations.

The Samajwadi Party leader’s promises also extended to technology access, pledging free mobile data to improve connectivity and empowerment among the poor. With the next phases of voting scheduled soon, Yadav’s speeches aim to consolidate support for the INDIA bloc while painting the BJP as a party of exclusion and elitism.
