Tragic Fire Claims Family of Five in Jaipur

In Jaipur, a devastating fire, sparked by an LPG gas leak while changing cylinders, resulted in the death of a couple and their three children.

Agency(Jaipur): In a tragic event that occurred on Thursday morning in Jaipur, a young couple and their three children lost their lives in a fire caused by an LPG gas leak in their home. The incident unfolded in the Vishwakarma police station area, where the family’s rented room became engulfed in flames, leaving no opportunity for escape.

The fire erupted while 25-year-old Rajesh Yadav was in the process of replacing the gas cylinder. According to SHO Rajendra Kumar, gas from the cylinder leaked and ignited suddenly. At the time, Yadav, his 24-year-old wife Rubi, their daughters Ishu, aged 7, Khushamani, aged 4, and two-year-old son Dilkhush, were inside the room and could not make it out. The family was tragically burnt alive in the blaze.

The Yadavs were residing in one of the rooms within a residential building that housed 17-18 other rooms. Fortunately, no other rooms were affected by the fire. Rajesh Yadav, who hailed from Motihari, Bihar, had been working in a factory and living in Jaipur for the past four months.

Following the incident, the fire department responded promptly, extinguishing the flames, and the bodies of the deceased were transported to a hospital’s mortuary. The devastating loss has prompted expressions of condolence from Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari. Sharma shared a heartfelt message on X, expressing sorrow over the untimely deaths and extending prayers for the souls of the departed and support for the grieving family members.

This heartbreaking incident serves as a stark reminder of the dangers associated with LPG gas and the critical importance of safety measures in preventing such tragedies.
