Tragic Accident Involving BJP Candidate’s Convoy

The incident involved Rehan Khan (17) and Shehzad Khan (20), who were riding a motorcycle. Agency (New Delhi): A tragic incident occurred involving the convoy of BJP’s Kaiserganj Lok Sabha candidate, Karan Bhushan Singh. On Thursday, Singh explained that the two young motorcyclists who lost their lives were supporters of his father, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. The accident happened after the youths hit a woman and fell into the path of one of the cars in the convoy.

Karan Bhushan Singh, son of the sitting Kaiserganj MP and former Wrestling Federation of India president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, noted that some party volunteers attended the victims’ funerals and supported their families.

On Wednesday, police reported that the SUV driver lost control, leading to the collision with Sita Devi, a 60-year-old woman walking by the roadside. She was treated and discharged from the district hospital shortly after. Singh mentioned he was informed about the accident after reaching Bahraich for a program and immediately sent a contact to the scene to ensure the victims received medical attention.

Singh refuted media claims about his direct involvement, stating, “A different type of image is being created in a section of the media about the accident, which is false and fabricated.” Meanwhile, the police took the SUV driver into custody on Wednesday.
