Swati Maliwal Seeks Help From India’s Bloc Leaders Amidst Alleged Assault Scandal

In a letter, Maliwal expressed her disappointment over being subjected to victim shaming and character assassination for facing continuous attacks from her own party’s leaders and volunteers.



Delhi (Aryavarth): Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal, a member of the Aam Aadmi Party, has reached out to INDIA bloc leaders like Rhul Gandhi and Sharad Pawar for a discussion on the alleged assault against her by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s aid Bibhav Kumar. In a letter, Maliwal expressed her disappointment over being subjected to victim shaming and character assassination for facing continuous attacks from her own party’s leaders and volunteers. 

Maliwal also highlighted the pain and isolation she has experienced as a survivor fighting for justice over the past month. She requested a meeting with the INDIA bloc leaders to discuss this important issue. This incident sheds light on the prevalent issue of victim blaming and the need for a safe and supportive environment for survivors to come forward and seek justice.
