Shinde Strategizes with Shiv Sena Candidates for Assembly Elections

Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde meets Shiv Sena candidates who lost in the Lok Sabha polls to strategize for the upcoming assembly elections.

Agency (Maharashtra): Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde held a meeting on Monday night with Shiv Sena candidates who were unsuccessful in the recent Lok Sabha elections. The Shinde-led Shiv Sena, part of the ruling Mahayuti alliance, contested 15 Lok Sabha seats in Maharashtra and secured seven victories.

Among those present at the meeting were Mumbai MLA Yamini Jadhav, Rahul Shewale, Hemant Godse, Sadashiv Lokhande, Sanjay Mandlik, Baburao Kohalikar, and Hemant Patil, according to a party official. One candidate, Raju Parve, was absent due to a family bereavement.

During the meeting, Shinde focused on devising strategies for the forthcoming assembly elections in Maharashtra, scheduled for October, the official added.
