BENGALURU: Rotary Bangalore Platinum from Zone 3192 conducted Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) programs for 10th Standard students at East West School, Rajajinagar, and St. John’s High School on 27th August 2024.
200 students and faculty members from both schools got benefitted by attending the RYLA program and helped in shaping their goal-setting and focus on academics. The program was facilitated by dedicated and experienced Rotary RYLA facilitators, Rotary Ulsoor President Rtn. Mohan Kumar.
The RYLA program included the topics on studies and career counselling and opportunities after 10th standard, goal setting, in particular the focus on high achievement in 10th standard exams, importance of communication skills, team building, overcoming fear, and building self-confidence and self-esteem. It was an interactive session with a quiz and activities.
The students and faculty appreciated the facilitators, provided positive feedback, and were inspired by the Rotarians.
Rtn Mruthunjaya, Principal, East West Public School, Subramanya Nagara, Bangalore, coordinated the programs.
Rotary Bangalore Platinum President Rtn. Suneetha J sponsored the event and distributed the certificates to the participants.
