Agency(New Delhi): CPI(M)-led LDF to lodge a complaint with EC over EVM recording votes wrongly
In a recent development, the CPI(M)-led Left Democratic Front (LDF) announced plans to file a complaint with the Election Commission (EC). They claim that during a practice voting session, certain electronic voting machines (EVMs) incorrectly recorded votes for the BJP candidate. This incident occurred during a mock poll held in the Kasaragod Lok Sabha constituency.
K P Satheesh Chandran, a high-ranking leader from the CPI(M), spoke with PTI about the issue. He stated that on Wednesday, during the simulation, two to three machines displayed these errors. The LDF intends to bring this matter to the EC’s attention formally.
