Agency (New Delhi): Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday stated that if the BJP wins the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, all opposition leaders, including West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray, and RJD leader Tejashvi Yadav, will end up in jail. Speaking to his party workers at the AAP headquarters, Kejriwal confidently asserted that the BJP will not return to power and predicted that the INDIA bloc will form the government on June 4.

Kejriwal, who recently received interim bail from the Supreme Court in a money laundering case, claimed, “In the last 20 hours since my release from jail, I’ve spoken to poll experts and people, and it’s clear that the BJP is not going to form the government.” He added that the AAP will be part of the central government and will push for full statehood for Delhi.

Criticizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Kejriwal suggested that Modi is campaigning for votes to install Union Home Minister Amit Shah as the next Prime Minister. “These people ask INDIA bloc about their face. I ask BJP who will be their PM? Modi ji is turning 75 on September 17 next year. He had made the rule that people aged 75 will be retired. They retired LK Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi, Sumitra Mahajan,” Kejriwal said, hinting at Modi’s potential retirement and questioning Shah’s capability to fulfill Modi’s guarantees.

Kejriwal also speculated that if the BJP wins, they will replace the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister within two months. Reflecting on his time in jail, he mentioned that the BJP had demanded his resignation but he refused to step down, calling it a conspiracy to force him out on false charges. He emphasized that his position as chief minister is not his priority, stating, “The chief minister’s post is not important for me. I did not step down because a conspiracy was hatched to force me to resign on a fake case.”

In a sharp attack on the BJP, Kejriwal accused the party of inducting “thieves and dacoits” and suggested that the Prime Minister should learn about fighting corruption from him. He claimed that under his leadership, corrupt individuals, including his own ministers, were sent to jail. Kejriwal also alleged that the Prime Minister has made significant efforts to dismantle the AAP by imprisoning its top leaders.
