Agency(New Delhi): In a shocking incident in Palwal, Haryana, a Class 10 student named Lokesh suffered a gunshot wound while heroically defending his mother and sister from harassment. This act of bravery occurred on Thursday, and Lokesh is currently being treated at a private hospital in the city, with the injury primarily affecting his right hand.
The incident took place when Lokesh, along with his mother and sister, was on their way home. They encountered three men on motorcycles who started misbehaving with the women. Displaying remarkable courage, Lokesh confronted the harassers. During the altercation, one of the men pulled out a gun and shot Lokesh, then fled the scene.
Despite being injured, Lokesh’s quick-thinking and resilience enabled his mother and sister to rush him to a hospital, where he is now recovering. Following the attack, Lokesh’s uncle immediately informed the police. The authorities have filed a case and are actively pursuing the assailants. One of the accused has been identified as Kokan from Badhra.
