In light of recent resignations within Haryana's leadership, Congress sees a pivotal moment for countrywide reform.

Agency( Haryana): The political landscape of Haryana experienced a significant shift on Tuesday with the resignation of Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and his cabinet, an event that has prompted the Congress to declare the necessity for change not just within the state but across the entire nation. This upheaval emerges amidst rising speculations about internal disagreements within the BJP-Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) alliance concerning seat distribution for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Jairam Ramesh, Congress’s general secretary, portrayed the turmoil in Haryana as a direct manifestation of the widespread discontent among farmers, the youth, and wrestlers, viewing it as a harbinger for similar upheavals nationwide. “It is time for change,” he asserted, emphasizing the sentiment in a message on X that underscored the pressures exerted by key societal groups leading to the current political scenario in Haryana and potentially foretelling shifts in the broader national context.

Echoing Ramesh’s call for transformation, Congress leader Kumari Selja criticized the BJP for its perceived failure to uphold the interests of the country’s youth, committing the Congress to the pursuit of justice on their behalf.

In the wake of these resignations, which included all 14 members of Khattar’s cabinet along with three JJP representatives, anticipations rise for the introduction of a new cabinet. The swearing-in ceremony is expected to take place at the governor’s residence, with the BJP scheduling a convening of its Haryana MLAs, signaling the onset of a new political chapter in the state.

This chain of events in Haryana has catalyzed a call to action by the Congress, seeking to leverage the moment as a catalyst for sweeping changes throughout India, amidst a backdrop of growing public dissatisfaction and demands for substantial political and social reform.
