Vijayawada: YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leader Margani Bharat on Wednesday lauded the launch of the party’s new Digital Book initiative, calling it a significant step toward documenting and addressing the alleged injustices faced by party workers under the current coalition government in Andhra Pradesh.

Addressing media personnel, Bharat said that YSRCP supporters have been subjected to various forms of political victimisation over the past 16 to 17 months. He emphasized that these wrongdoings would not go unpunished and that justice would be pursued when party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy returns to power, possibly in the 2029 elections.

“All the injustices committed during the tenure of the coalition government, especially those targeting YSRCP cadre, will be brought to light. When our leader Jagan Mohan Reddy returns to power, each case will be investigated, and the perpetrators will face justice,” Bharat asserted.

He further explained that the newly launched Digital Book allows anyone who has faced injustice to submit evidence of their grievances, which will be stored in a secure digital repository. This, he said, is not merely a symbolic move but a commitment to uphold accountability.

Earlier in the day, YSRCP chief and former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy officially launched the Digital Book through the party’s official platform. The initiative aims to give a voice to workers who claim to have suffered political retribution during the current administration.

In addition to the website, the party has introduced an IVRS (Interactive Voice Response System) helpline — 040-49171718 — enabling individuals to report grievances via phone.

Jagan Mohan Reddy emphasized that these documented cases will serve as the foundation for future action. He announced plans to form a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe all submitted cases once the party returns to power.

“Whether someone has retired, relocated, or is living abroad, we will pursue every single case to ensure justice is served,” Jagan said.

He also took a dig at critics who have raised concerns about alleged “Red Books,” saying the Digital Book initiative will set an example of how a “Book of Truth and Justice” truly operates.
