Los Angeles: Kim Kardashian has opened up about her surprising — and often frustrating — relationship with ChatGPT, admitting that she frequently used the AI tool for “legal advice” while studying law, only to end up with incorrect answers.
Speaking in a recent conversation, Kim revealed, “I use it for legal advice. When I need to know the answer to a question, I’ll take a picture and put it in there.” But the results, she said, were far from helpful.
“They’re always wrong. It has made me fail tests… all the time,” she admitted, adding that she would even get angry at the chatbot. “I’ll yell at it and be like, ‘You made me fail. Why did you do this?’ And it will talk back to me.”
Calling ChatGPT her “frenemy,” the SKIMS founder said the AI often gives her snarky or philosophical replies.
She recounted telling the chatbot it might cause her to fail, only for it to respond, “This is just teaching you to trust your own instincts… you knew the answer all along.”
Kim joked that instead of helping her study, the chatbot sometimes turns into her “therapist,” offering motivational lessons after giving her the wrong answer.
Kardashian has been studying law through a six-year apprenticeship program in California and previously spoke about passing the “baby bar” exam in 2021. She also plays a lawyer in the legal drama “All’s Fair,” which centers on an all-women law firm in Los Angeles and co-stars Teyana Taylor, Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash-Betts, and Sarah Paulson.
