In the presence of Telangana’s Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, and other dignitaries, the Prime Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for over 30 projects with a combined investment of Rs 56,000 crore. These projects, spanning energy, environmental conservation, and modern transportation networks, are expected to play a pivotal role in advancing the state’s and nation’s progress.

Reflecting on the journey since the formation of Telangana and his government’s tenure, the Prime Minister underscored the central government’s commitment to supporting Telangana’s developmental aspirations. He highlighted the inauguration of the second unit of NTPC in Telangana, capable of generating 800 MW, and the completion of the electrification of the Ambari-Adilabad-Pimpalkhuti railway line. Additionally, the foundation for two new national highways in Adilabad-Bela and Mulugu was laid, anticipated to revolutionize the region’s connectivity, industrial growth, and employment prospects.

Emphasizing the principle of national advancement through state development, Modi pointed out India’s economic achievements, including a remarkable 8.4 percent growth rate in the last quarter, positioning it on the path to becoming the world’s third-largest economy. This growth trajectory promises substantial benefits for Telangana, enhancing its economic landscape and investment appeal.

The Prime Minister also reflected on the transformative changes over the past decade, particularly in regions like Telangana that faced numerous developmental challenges. The central government’s increased investment in the state over the last 10 years has focused on uplifting the marginalized sections of society, including the poorest, Dalits, and tribals. With 25 crore people lifted out of poverty through various welfare schemes, the government aims to continue this development momentum.

Concluding his address, Modi expressed his anticipation for more detailed discussions at an upcoming public event and thanked the Chief Minister and other dignitaries for their participation. This marks a significant step forward in the collective journey of development, with a commitment to enhancing the lives of the people of Telangana and India.
