Mumbai (Maharashtra): Actor Gaurav Khanna has been crowned the winner of Bigg Boss 19 after a dramatic and closely contested finale hosted by Salman Khan. Khanna secured the coveted trophy, beating finalist Farrhana Bhatt, who finished as the first runner-up.
Speaking shortly after his win, Khanna expressed gratitude to his supporters, dedicating his victory to his fans and everyday working individuals.
“I want to dedicate this journey to my fans. It wouldn’t have been possible without them,” he said. “This is a victory for every ordinary person who works hard despite criticism and challenges.”
Reflecting on his time in the house, the Anupamaa actor shared that he was determined to stay true to his values throughout the show.
“I wanted to stand on my own terms without using aggression. I chose to speak only when it was necessary and not when provoked,” he explained.
Khanna credited his strong bond with viewers for his triumph.
“Many television personalities have participated in the past but didn’t win. I believe I connected with the public—that’s why I won. Whether you are on TV or in any other field, what matters most is connecting with your audience,” he said.
Contestants Tanya Mittal, Amaal Mallik, and Pranit More rounded out the season’s top five.
Gaurav Khanna took home the Bigg Boss 19 trophy along with a cash prize of ₹50 lakh.
