New Delhi – Tensions between rival criminal syndicates have escalated after gangster Rohit Godara made serious allegations against fellow gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. In an unverified social media post, Godara accused Bishnoi of colluding with a U.S. intelligence agency, claiming that Bishnoi provided sensitive information in exchange for protecting his brother, Anmol.
Godara further alleged that Bishnoi’s intentions to target Bollywood actor Salman Khan are driven by a desire for notoriety. Urging the media to stop linking him or his associates to Bishnoi, Godara labeled him a “traitor.”
Both Rohit Godara and Goldy Brar, another key figure in the gangland network, are wanted by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and various state police units. While Brar is believed to be in the United States, Godara is suspected to be hiding in the United Kingdom.
This latest development comes in the wake of a violent incident in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, where gunshots were fired outside the residence of actress Disha Patani around 3:45 a.m. on September 12. The attack was claimed on social media by Godara and Brar, sparking widespread concern.
On September 17, two suspects involved in the firing — identified as Ravinda alias Kullu and Arun, both from Rohtak, Haryana — were killed during an encounter with a joint team of the Delhi Police and the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force in Ghaziabad’s Tronica City area. The police confirmed both suspects succumbed to their injuries following the operation.
