New Delhi (Agency): A Delhi man has been accused of pressuring his wife to mimic pornstars, leading to legal action against him. The 30-year-old woman, who lives in East Rohtash Nagar, alleges that her husband, to whom she has been married since 2020, has a pornography addiction.
The woman’s accusations extend beyond her husband’s alleged porn obsession. She also asserts that he and his family demanded dowry and subjected her to both mental and physical abuse, according to a senior police officer.
“On Tuesday, a case was registered under sections 498 A (husband or relative of husband of a woman subjecting her to cruelty), 406 (criminal breach of trust), 377 (unnatural offence) and 34 (common intention) of the Indian Penal Code and sections of Dowry Prohibition Act at Shahdara Police Station on the complaint of the woman,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police (Shahdara) Rohit Meena. The investigation is in its preliminary stages, with witness statements currently being collected and digital evidence being secured for future action, Meena added.
