Washington DC, January 20: ABC News correspondent Will Reeve, the youngest son of late actor Christopher Reeve and Dana Reeve, married event planner Amanda Dubin in a private wedding ceremony in Miami on January 17, according to People.
The intimate celebration was attended by close family members, friends and several of Reeve’s colleagues from ABC News. Good Morning America co-host Robin Roberts shared a photo from the wedding on social media, posing with her wife Amber Laign and congratulating the newlyweds. GMA contributor Lara Spencer also posted moments from the ceremony, describing it as a joyful celebration of the couple’s love.
In an Instagram Stories post dated January 18, Robin Roberts wrote, “Ready to celebrate Amanda & Will,” while Lara Spencer called the wedding “a joyous day celebrating” the couple’s “beautiful love story.” Amanda Dubin responded warmly in the comments, writing, “We love you!!”
Will Reeve, 33, and Amanda Dubin, 29, first went public with their relationship in April 2023, sharing a photo from Paris. The couple announced their engagement in November 2023 after Reeve proposed during what Dubin initially believed was a staged charity event in Manhattan.
Reeve later recounted the proposal during an appearance on Live With Kelly and Mark, explaining that Dubin, an event planner by profession, was filming the setup for inspiration before realising it was a surprise. “I go, ‘You’re going to have to put your phone down now,’” he recalled, adding that she immediately understood what was happening.
Will Reeve is the youngest son of Christopher Reeve, who rose to international fame for portraying Superman in the 1978 film and its sequels. The actor died in 2004 at the age of 52 following cardiac arrest, nearly a decade after being paralysed in a horse-riding accident. His wife, Dana Reeve, passed away in 2006 after battling lung cancer.
Reeve has frequently spoken about the enduring influence of his parents on his life, saying that discussing them helps him feel connected to their legacy. In a 2024 interview, he said he remains deeply proud to carry forward his family’s name and values.
