Hyderabad, April 3: The Ram Navami celebrations hosted by ASBL at RTC X Roads on March 27 turned into a remarkable display of devotion, culture, and community spirit. The Srirama Navami Kalyanam Mahotsava brought together spiritual rituals, cultural performances, and a historic attempt to write over one crore “Rama Nama,” creating an unforgettable experience for devotees.
The event stood out not just for its scale but for its deeply devotional atmosphere. A towering 55-foot cutout of Lord Rama became a visual highlight, while the venue resonated with faith, music, and traditional celebrations throughout the evening.
A key highlight was the ambitious 1 crore+ Rama Nama writing initiative, supported by 108 pandits. This collective effort symbolized unwavering devotion to Lord Rama and kept the audience engaged, with regular updates adding excitement and emotional connection to the milestone.
The celebrations began with a ceremonial lamp lighting, followed by the sacred Srirama Kalyanam. Vedic chants filled the air, creating a serene and spiritual environment that set the tone for the rest of the evening.
Cultural performances added depth to the event. A graceful Kuchipudi presentation by Nritya Priya Academy showcased classical elegance, while performances by Ramachari Garu’s students brought warmth and tradition to the stage.
The musical segment, led by Sunitha Garu and her team, stood out as a soulful highlight, leaving the audience deeply moved. The presence of well-known personalities Suma Kanakala and Aishwarya Rajesh further elevated the significance of the celebration.
Following the kalyanam, darshan was opened to all attendees, allowing devotees to seek blessings. A visually striking moment came when lighting effects illuminated the top of the Lord Rama cutout, creating a divine and memorable दृश्य for those present.
The event concluded with the distribution of prasadam from Bhadrachalam, adding a sacred finish to the celebrations.
