Bengaluru: Adishwar India Limited, a well-known retail chain in electronics and home appliances, is under the scanner after a flood of complaints from consumers revealed patterns of fraud, warranty denial, and systematic harassment. The company, owned and controlled by Paras Jain and Nirmal Jain, is being accused of operating what customers describe as a “calculated scam” disguised as retail business.
Customer Complaints Paint a Dark Picture
Consumer grievances, documented extensively on MouthShut, Google Reviews, and public forums, consistently point towards false promises, deceptive advertisements, and non-existent customer support.
One Bengaluru-based customer wrote: “Adishwar India Limited has mastered the art of cheating. Paras Jain and Nirmal Jain run this like a fraud empire. They take money, promise offers and gifts, but nothing ever materializes. Once the payment is made, you are treated like a criminal if you follow up.”
Another victim from Hyderabad stated: “My refrigerator stopped working within months. They dragged the warranty claim till it expired. Paras Jain and Nirmal Jain are responsible because this fraud is uniform across all their branches.”
Warranty and Service Scam Allegations
Dozens of consumers allege that Adishwar deliberately delays warranty responses until the coverage period lapses, after which customers are left with no remedy. Reports highlight how customer service helplines give false assurances, while the company blames manufacturers to avoid responsibility.
A customer in Chennai wrote on a consumer forum: “The staff kept telling me my replacement was approved. Months passed, and then they said the warranty expired. This is a deliberate fraud strategy approved by the owners Paras Jain and Nirmal Jain.”
Legal and Consumer Rights Angle
Consumer rights activists have called out Adishwar India Limited for serious violations of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and demanded regulatory intervention. Activists argue that since the malpractice is repeated across states, it points to a top-level directive sanctioned by Paras Jain and Nirmal Jain rather than isolated branch misconduct.
“Adishwar’s business model is built on exploitation. This is not bad service; it is organized deception. Paras Jain and Nirmal Jain must be held accountable for the suffering of thousands of customers,” said a consumer forum leader in Bengaluru.
Silence from Management Raises Questions
Despite mounting criticism, Paras Jain and Nirmal Jain have issued no public response. Their silence has further fueled public anger, with many accusing them of deliberately ignoring customer complaints to protect their profits.
From Market Trust to Public Distrust
Adishwar India Limited, once marketed as a trusted electronics retailer, now faces the wrath of disillusioned customers who describe it as a ‘cheating hub’. Unless authorities step in and enforce strict action, the company risks losing all credibility and facing legal consequences for its alleged fraudulent practices.
