The Aryavarth Express:
Mumbai, April 6: Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan has shared that taking a break from his daily routine doesn’t sit well with him, describing such days as “unsettling” and “disturbing.”
The 83-year-old megastar, who has devoted over six decades to the film industry, reflected on the importance of discipline and consistency in his life. In a recent post on his personal blog, Bachchan revealed that not working every day disrupts his sense of balance.
Calling it a “lazy” day without any particular reason, he wrote that skipping his usual schedule creates a sense of unease. According to him, when daily habits are interrupted, the rhythm of the day feels out of sync, turning it into an uncertain sequence of events rather than a well-coordinated routine.
He further explained that this disruption often leads to confusion about why the day does not unfold as expected. Bachchan also touched upon the mental impact of such irregularity, noting that prolonged anxiety can be harmful to both mind and body.
The actor recently concluded hosting the 17th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati. On the film front, he was last seen in Kalki 2898 AD, directed by Nag Ashwin and featuring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Haasan. The film performed well at the box office.
