The Aryavarth Express Tehran, March 25 — Iran has denied any ongoing negotiations with the United States, contradicting recent remarks by Donald Trump suggesting that peace talks were underway.
Iran’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Reza Amiri Moghadam, stated that there have been no discussions between Tehran and Washington. Speaking to Iran’s state news agency IRNA, he said the current conflict stems from what he described as “America’s betrayal of negotiations.”
Meanwhile, Israel has also dismissed reports of possible diplomatic engagement. Danny Danon, Israel’s Ambassador to the United Nations, said he was unaware of any talks involving Israel, Iran, and the United States.
Danon emphasized that military operations are ongoing, with Israel and the US continuing to target Iranian military assets. He reiterated that Israel’s primary objective is to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear and ballistic missile capabilities, adding that any eventual resolution would have to ensure long-term security outcomes.
He further claimed that Israel has weakened Iran’s strategic position and framed Israel as a stabilizing force in the region, while accusing Iran of contributing to instability.
Trump, however, maintained that negotiations were in progress and suggested that IRNA was seeking a deal following significant military setbacks. He claimed that Iran’s military infrastructure had been severely degraded and expressed confidence that the conflict could soon come to an end.
Despite these contrasting statements, hostilities persist. Israel continues its strikes inside Iran, while Iranian forces have launched multiple waves of retaliatory attacks. With both sides maintaining hardline positions, prospects for immediate peace in West Asia remain uncertain.
