The Aryavarth Express Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India]: The Mumbai Press Club received a threatening email claiming that multiple small bombs filled with poisonous gas had been planted inside the building and were set to detonate at 1 pm on Friday, officials said.
The email, allegedly sent by an individual identifying herself as Neerja Ajmal Khan, claimed that 42 “poison gas” devices had been installed in the Mumbai Press Club premises. The message reportedly urged that the building be evacuated, stating that the devices were intended only to cause property damage.
The email included political grievances, alleging that members of the DMK party in Tamil Nadu had targeted supporters under the UAPA law, and accused Tamil Nadu media of blocking their efforts to expose the party. It also referenced involvement of Naxalites and alleged links to Pakistan, claiming limited resources to target buildings, and concluding with, “Long live the Naxalite Jihad Committee!”
